“This place saved my life. The staff truly cares about each and every person that walks through the doors. It would be the first place I'd recommend to anyone who is struggling. Because of them I have my life back, I have peace, I am responsible, employable and HAPPY. Which I never thought I'd be able to say a year ago. Couldn't be more grateful for them.”
“Helping Hands is a game changer. I went into it expecting the typical Iop experience, but it was so much more. For the first time I felt cared for, listened to, and pointed in the direction that I needed so desperately. The clinical director and her staff don’t miss a beat when it comes to their patients needs. I have been to more treatment centers than I care to admit and have never come across a program like this. The all female setting gives a comfortability to work through the traumas and all the messy things addiction brought in our Life’s. It was always hard for me to get along with females but the girls in this program somehow became family. So worth checking out ... I was so skeptical and not even sure if I was ready to change but this place really helped that and I’m so grateful for this program and everyone in it!”
“This is the best program I’ve ever been in, I’ve been to many different programs for mental health/substance abuse and helping hands is the most patient and understanding place I’ve been so far. I’m not sure I would have over a year and a half sober today if it weren’t for them. What I love most is that it’s a small group of women only and a very comfortable environment to talk about women’s specific issues. If you’re looking to try something new I highly recommend this program.”
“Helping Hands Recovery Center was and still is a major component in my recovery. I entered HHRC shortly after coming to Florida. I had tried other programs before but truly believe if it wasn’t for HHRC’s small, gender-specific program I would not be the woman I am today. Today, I have 5 years of continuous sobriety and a group of women I met through this program who I am still in contact with today. I have learned to build meaningful and lasting friendships with women and maintain long-term sobriety from this program.”
